1 YEAR UPDATE

Born : Weight: 7 lbs 1.5 oz Height: 19.5 inches
1 Year : Weight: 21 lbs 8.5 oz Height: 30inches

She sure has grown fast!

Kalena's newest favorite hobby is giving BIG Hugs to everyone. Its the sweetest thing, ever. I remember first day she gave a super big hug, we where leaving the mall and I was putting her in her car seat and she just hugged and hugged me:)

Kalena is making the switch from formula to whole milk.
She still loves feeding herself tofu, vegs, fruit, and most of crackers.

She got to have her "first" cake at her birthday party on Jan. 24th, it was marble flavored. Then on her birthday we gave her a chocolate cupcake, it was so cute and messy to watch her eat it.

She loves music, she does the cutest head bob.

She loves to play peek-a-boo, play with any toy that makes noise, be read to, and swing her arms about.

Kalena is 1
It happened so fast. Our first year with Kalena has been better then we ever imagined. She is everything to us.
Kalena had a blast at her birthday party we held Saturday, Jan. 24th. She had all her grandparents, family, and friends with her to celebrate.
She got her very own "smuch" cake to enjoy, which she did and she even smuched some in daddy's face and then ofcourse he had to get mommy.
Then on Kalena's birthday we meet Daddy at Lake Eola for lunch, pictures, and even a cupcake. The cupcake was much more messier than her birthday cake.

Holiday Season

Kalena enjoyed her busy Holiday Season. We didn't know if she'd understand the crazy gift giving part of the holiday, but at eleven months old.. she understood. She was so excited she wouldn't go to sleep Christmas night. We let her get out of her crib and play some more.. She acted like some gave her a shot of adrenaline.
