May and June Update

Sorry we have not updated in a while..
In May, Kalena got to spend time with her Grandma Juanita. They had a great time playing and shopping together. Kalena and I had the flu for most of May and on Mother's Day. But once we were better we went to the beach to celebrate Mother's Day.

At the beginning of June I got a full time job and Kalena started going to her "at home" daycare down the street four days a week. She spends Friday's with Grandpa Joel and one day week Gram Faye picks her up for a bit. Its been a different pace for all of us, but is working out.

Kalena is communicating very well us, but still isn't talking a lot. Her newest word is "here" and she even using it at the right time. Like "here" take this.

She is eating just about everything. Her newest favorite snacks are vegy straws.

She thinks she's a big girl already and likes to walk herself to the car and to her highchair.

She loves carrying pursues, bags, shoes, and her monkey.

She likes to brush my hair, which is a little painful.
