Kalena's First Vacation

Kalena went on her first family vacation August 29 to September 4th. We went to Holmes Beach, FL, just north of Bradenton Beach. We had a week of the beach, pool, rest, and family fun.
After the second day Kalena would wake up, go pick up a bucket and shovel and stand at the front door waiting to go down to the beach.. It was so cute...
We kept safe from the sun by building sand castles under tent shade.. we enjoying playing Princess Kalena on the rafts in the ocean. And at the pool she was complemented by the other guests on how adorable she was. After relaxing in the pool we would sit on the pool chairs like "big girls" and drink water and "just sit" for what felt like hours.
We also found a park for Kalena to play at, she enjoyed the swings, slides, and running around.

September Update

Kalena is doing wonderful!
She has had a busy summer. Between visits at Gram Faye's, Grandpa Joel, going to St. Augustine to visit Grandma Cheryl, and this week a vist from Grandparent's Juanita and Shockey...
Kalena loves going to the at home daycare down the street sometimes she cries when she has to go home (isn't she supposed to cry when we drop her off?? not the other way around)..
Kalena loves when she gets to play with her friend Marli. Marli loves to push Kalena on the rocking horse, they cook together in their red kitchen, and share their snacks.
I took Kalena to Disney on my birthday, she had the greatest time. Her favorite ride was its a small world. We get to go back for Juli's birthday with Marli, Kalena is so excited.

Kalena still loves to say KitKat, Uh Oh, and sometimes she even says Mine, Hi, Bye, Momma, Dada, No, What's that...
She always says KitKat with a kiss to follow, its so cute..
She has learned to bark like a puppy and to meow like a kitty. She can point out the cats, dogs, and fish in her books.
She still loves her monkey!! And mean LOVES her monkey!

Kalena also loves to wear her accessories.. sunglasses, bracelets, necklaces, shoes.. she is definitely a girly girly in the making.

Kalena can also find her nose, mouth, belly button, etc. :0
