Update - Kalena & Kenzy 10/21/13

We're slacking on the updates for sure. Our 2 girls are keeping us busy.

Kenzy is 2yrs & 2 months old now and is a sponge. She can recognize and repeat numbers 1-10 and A-Z. She has a book of 100 words like Apple, Duck, Goose, Truck, Car... and she's mastered that several months ago. She is affectionate, giving a random kiss or will pet our arm while watching Netflix. Her favorite shows are TroTro, Dinosaur Train, and Curious George. Her favorite books are Big Dog Little Dog, Mr. Wishy Washy, Goodnight Moon/My World, Are You My Mother, and 5 Lil Monkeys. Kenzy gets excited when her teacher (Shaniqua sp?) takes her gloves off and pops them. And she LOVES Mouse and Bath Time, and always has a Juice sippy cup close. She is a great communicator with words like "Cup", "Thank You", "Hugs" and "I sorry". When we have our moments we always apologize to each other after. She's also starting to go Pee Pee on the Pot.

Kalena is 5yrs & 9mo's. She's doing good in Kindergarten. Her teacher, Ms. Abbott is a gator fan too. Her School & Kid-e-Place friends are Teigan, Annabelle, Rowan, Morgan, Isabella, Carly, and of course Marli & Colin after school. Kalena still likes Spinach but doesn't like Broccoli as much. She loves to watch Curious George, Dinosaur Train, and will watch TroTro some with her lil' sister. She's doing good with her homework and LOVES cats... too much. I have no doubts that when she moves out, she'll own 20. She's getting better with her swimming. Still uses a floaty or noodle, but there's progress.

Our lil fishy died finally. It lasted way longer than we were told. Kalena and Daddy buried him in the backyard. We were sad, but didn't cry. We just took our pumpkin patch photos with the Greene's. It was HOT.

Let's see... we took the girls to see Disney on Ice (company seating), we like the Disney water parks, Kalena went Roller Skating for the first time. It was difficult, but she liked it.

Until next time.... "PARTY" (Kenzy shouts that with her fist in the air)... I may regret teaching her that later.
